Teaching Competence workshop series
We are very pleased about your interest in workshops on teaching and learning in higher education. The series "Teaching Competence" offers a variety of workshops to support you in:
- further professionalizing your teaching skills
- developing your repertoire of teaching methods in different settings
- finding inspiration through exchanging ideas with other teachers
While most workshops are held in German, we offer a selection of English-language courses:

Workshops
The series "Teaching Competence" offers workshops (max. 12 participants) on a range of topics in teaching and learning in higher education, as well as coaching and supervision in both individual and small group settings. They either take place in face-to-face sessions, in online classes or in mixed forms. Please refer to the course description for information on the format of the respective workshop.
Registration
Please register via the Website of the Department of Human Resources Development. Registration closes two weeks prior to the respective workshop.

Course Facilitator
The workshop facilitators are experts either from the University of Vienna, or from other Austrian or international institutions. You will find short biographies of all facilitators in the workshop descriptions.
