Talk about Teaching

Event Series

Starting with the academic year 2022/2023, the CTL introduces a new event series entitled "Talk about Teaching" ("Lehre im Austausch"). As part of the series, we will host an English-language format called Teaching Conversations, a regular discussion group on all things teaching at the university. Our goal is to support instructors with reflecting on their own instructional practices and to provide them a space to think about pedagogy. Additionally, Teaching Conversations gives participants the opportunity to connect with other teaching faculty and staff in an informal and relaxed setting.

Teaching Conversations

We will meet twice during the upcoming winter term. Each meeting will be from 09.00-10.30am at CTL (Universitätsstraße 5, 1010 Wien). A small breakfast will be provided. All instructors are welcome!

The dates and topics for the upcoming Teaching Conversations will be published shortly.

During the last academic year, we discussed the following topics:

Thurs., 21.11.: Teaching in a Multilingual Classroom
Thurs., 20. 03.: Feedback in the Age of AI
Tues., 24.06.: Assessment, Grading, and AI
