Thesis planner (in German)
Writing a bachelor’s paper or master’s thesis can be challenging and sometimes chaotic. You need to keep an overview of your own project and manage the available time appropriately. This thesis planner is aimed at helping you organise your writing process, as well as regarding time management and self-organisation.
You can download it for free.
It provides:
- orientation and structure for writing your thesis/paper;
- ideas, suggestions and assistance for self-organisation and time management;
- reflection exercises to help you learn more about yourself as a writer;
- useful tips and tricks as well as information about writing of theses/papers.
Please note: The planner will assist you in structuring your writing project but cannot replace support by and talks with teachers.

The planner is intended to serve as a flexible instrument that you can adapt according to your needs: You are, for instance, free to add pages (e.g. handouts); we have provided a few suggestions on this page (see ‘Additional pages’).
You can either print out the planner or use it on your computer. The digital planner for use on your computer includes boxes for entering text, which the printout version does not have.
Planer
This document provides the basis for your personal planner. It includes materials that will support you from the start to the conclusion of your writing project, at all stages and in all situations. Once you have become familiar with the basic document and know how it is structured, you can adapt it to your needs and insert additional pages.
