Booking bunks for group work

Do you have a group project ahead of you and need a place to work? Book a bunk in Student Space 1, NIG top floor!

A total of eleven bunks are available for group work in Student Space 1. Each bunk offers 6-8 seats and is separated from the neighboring bunks by a partition wall.

The bunks can be booked freely between 09:45-16:30 (Fridays until 12:00). Please note that the reservation will be canceled after 15 minutes if it is not used by you

If there are 2 events taking place in the Student Space, no bookings can be made.

 Booking modalities

During the semester (course period) you cannot book stalls earlier than 10 days in advance. For availability please check the calendar.

  • On-site booking: At the CTL Peer Point from 09:00 to 17:00, NIG, Student Space 1.
    We cannot guarantee processing of short-term bookings of stalls for the same day.
  • E-mail booking: Send an e-mail to: peerpoint.ctl@univie.ac.at; please specify the desired time slot(s) as specified above.
    We cannot guarantee timely processing if bookings for the next day arrive after 16:30.

Important scheduling information

Student lectures and poster walks take place in Student Spaces 1 and 2 from time to time. On these days, the use of the rooms is restricted and the volume is increased.

 Booking a consultation

In addition to their training in writing didactics, the writing assistants at the CTL have different areas of expertise and focus and will always endeavor to provide you with the best possible support.

All writing assistants can answer questions about academic writing, learning, reading texts and academic work in general. If you have any questions about methods or evaluation software, please write this in the booking email. We will then be happy to inform you about the working hours of the writing assistant with the required skills.
