Data-Based Peer Student-Counseling (pilot project)

We focus on your individual concerns. The peer-consultation revolves around you as a person and your individual situation. The aim of peer student-counseling is to support you in reaching your personal study goals in terms of your study progress. Note: Please ask any curriclum-related questions directly at your faculty (StV, SSC/SSS, SPL).

Peer student-counseling is always at eye level (student-to-student). Experienced peer student-counselors at the CTL support you by asking specific questions, they initiate self-reflection, introduce useful exercises, give advice and a potential course of action, and they discuss learning and studying strategies. Peer student-counselors discuss data-based visualizations of your personal study progress with you and consult on such topics as study goals, study (dis)satisfaction, and motivation connected to all your individual concerns. It is essential that you are actively self-reflecting during the consultation and that you work out next steps together by the end of the session.
